These two factors combine to make our amazing capital an unrivalled hub for music, performances and events. 2024 brings together a diverse and dynamic music scene and promises an electrifying array of events that will have something for almost everyone – no matter what your interests are. I’ve put together a guide showcasing some of the exciting London gigs that are happening this year. I’d love to know what else you are planning on seeing or doing in London this year.
London Music Events 2024
This is a collaborative post.

London’s cultural diversity adds an extra layer to its musical tapestry. The city serves as a melting pot of genres, fostering an environment where artists from around the globe converge to create a unique fusion of performances and events. By attending one of the capital’s enriching events, you’ll be expanding your horizons and deepening your appreciation for music as an art form. This is what I love most about going to events in London – they are unique, fun, enriching and they add an experience to your life that you can rarely find outside of the main cities in the UK. What’s on offer this year is varied – but don’t stick to what you know. Mix your love for 80s music with a bit of classical or perhaps try Latin Jazz or some up-and-coming new bands. Here are some highlights –
Jess Glynne + Cian Ducrot
If you like the distinctive music of Jess Glynne, then this is a gig for you. Live at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London on Friday 9th August 2024.
Big In 2024 – London
This is perfect if you are open to exploring new bands and new music. This Feeling showcases new bands and you’ll know about them first.
The Lark Ascending by Candlelight
If you are a lover of classical music, there can’t be anything better than an evening of classical music in St Mary Le Strand – all done by candlelight.
Martin Kemp: The Ultimate Back to the 80’s DJ Set
If you love a bit of old-school 80s music, then this legend from the 80s will be taking you back with some of the classics from the era.
Latin Jazz Brunch Live with Sarabanda (Live) + DJ John Armstrong
What better way to enjoy Latin music than at Latin Jazz Brunch Live? If you’ve never been before, it’s well worth expanding your horizons.
Massaoke: 80s v 90s Live
Did you know that this is the UK’s largest mass karaoke? Not only does this event have a live band, it has some of the greatest anthems of the 80s & 90s with giant singalong lyrics.
Disco Orchestrated
Music genres don’t get much more mixed up than this. A 15-piece orchestra perform disco classics for the audience. Brilliant!

So you’ve seen a small selection of what’s on offer in terms of London Music Events 2024. Remember, beyond the music itself, London’s vibrant atmosphere contributes to the overall experience of a day or two in London. The city’s historic landmarks, contemporary art scene, and diverse restaurants provide an amazing experience for everyone. So whether you’re into classical symphonies, cutting-edge electronic beats, or the raw energy of live rock performances, London has it all – and everything else to accompany it.
