Photos At Events

Back in the pre-pandemic days, I used to go to a lot of industry events. Whether that was training days, award ceremonies or even supplier/partner birthday parties. These events were always a lot of fun. It was a great opportunity to talk to spend some time with the people you work with and to get to know them a bit better. When it came to external suppliers and partners, it was always a great opportunity to find out more about the company, the account managers and just find out if you ‘gel’. I’ve been to some really great events, learnt a lot and got some wonderful memories out of them. I also picked up an award or two on the way at a couple of the award ceremonies we attended.
Photo Memories
One thing that always struck me about these events is how much effort went into giving people good memories of these events. One of the ways that they did this was to provide on-site photo printing. Quite often there would be an area all dressed and set up for people to come and pose for a photo. Once the photo had been taken, these could be printed instantly on-site for people to take away with them. I was always a fan of photos at events as they were a lovely memory of the event. It’s all well and good snapping a few pictures on your phone, but who prints these anymore? It was nice to have a physical copy of the photo.
Weddings
The same can be said for weddings. I’ve been to a number of weddings where there has been a set-up designed for the guests to be able to capture some less formal moments. Not only does the person or people in the photos get a copy, but there will also be a copy for the bride and groom to look through after the event.
Often photos at a wedding are quite formal and so this can provide a nice way to get a few more fun photos. It also provides a good source of entertainment for the guests. Often these photo setups come with some kind of props or backdrops. These can make it even more fun for those taking part and also those viewing the photos after.
So if you are planning an event, whether that’s a company party, a wedding, award ceremony or even a big birthday bash, it’s well worth looking into instant photo printing and having someone there to help you facilitate your event. Not only will the attendees love getting involved, but you’ll also end up with lots of great photo memories which you can look through again and again.
