Building Our Springfree Trampoline
I’m not going to lie, this was a bit trickier than we imagined and took us a lot longer than we expected, much to the impatience of the kids!
We went for the medium oval Springfree trampoline, which measures 8 ft × 11 ft, offering a generous 77 square feet of jumping space. It strikes a wonderful balance: big enough for kids as they grow and want to perfect more complex moves, but compact enough to fit comfortably into most gardens.
It was perfect for one side of our garden (as long as we keep our hedges trimmed). It’s a good size for adults, too. With the net in place, it stands at about 9 ft tall, so it feels spacious as you jump about.
We built the trampoline over two evenings; it probably took us around four hours in total. It wasn’t too complex once we got the hang of how to build it. Getting the springs in place was the hardest part and definitely took the strength of two adults. I would say if you only have one adult to build this or you struggle with gripping and strength exercises, you’d be well-advised to take advantage of their assembly service.

A 10-Year Warranty
Once you are assembled with your trampoline, you’ll be thrilled to know that every Springfree trampoline comes with a comprehensive 10-year warranty, covering every single part of the trampoline, from the mat and frame to the rods and enclosure net. That’s a full decade of guaranteed family fun, with none of the fine print or hidden clauses you often find with other brands. It’s no wonder that Springfree has become parents’ number one choice for trampolines. It was our number one choice. Head and shoulders above all the other trampolines we looked at. As I mentioned, I used to trampoline regularly as a youngster, so I will say it’s been great for us adults as much as the kids.
