Top Things to Do In Toronto
This is a collaborative post
Toronto is the capital of Ontario and the most populated city in Canada. It is located on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario. The city has a population of 2.6 million people and is one of the most multicultural cities in North America. Toronto is also a hub for theatre, music, arts, fashion, and film production. The main airport is Toronto Pearson Airport. Passengers depart and arrive from the number 1 and 3 Terminals Toronto Pearson Airport. There are lots to see and do there. Here are my suggestions for the top things to do in Toronto.
CN Tower
The CN Tower is the tallest building in Toronto. It was built in 1976, and it’s 553m (1,815ft) tall. It has an observation deck that’s worth checking out as it has an impressive view from its glass floor. The observation deck is 346 meters (1,136 feet) up and ideal to see all that Toronto has to offer including its skyscrapers and natural landscape. You can see all of Toronto from up there! It’s a great place to take pictures too!

Royal Ontario Musem
Whilst you are in the city, why not visit one of the many museums? The Royal Ontario Museum is a great choice as this has nearly millions of historic artefacts from around the world including dinosaur bones and mummies.
AGO
If historical artefacts aren’t your thing, why not try the AGO Museum? This is a different type of museum which has many different types of art, including contemporary Canadian art. The AGO also has free admission every day.
Explore The Waterfront or The Parks
Why not take a walk along the waterfront and breathe in that fresh air? Or, explore the great outdoors with a walk through one of Toronto’s many parks. The walk along the waterfront is an especially nice way to experience Toronto’s stunning skyline while getting in some fresh air and exercise.
Experience A Festival
Toronto is a city of festivals. If you’re looking for something to do this summer, visit one of the many festivals that the city has to offer. One example is Caribana. The festival, which runs in August 2023, celebrates Caribbean culture and traditions by hosting a parade down Lakeshore and many other exciting events!
Visit the Toronto Islands
The Toronto Islands are a small chain of islands in Lake Ontario. These are the best places to take a leisurely walk or bike ride, go swimming and try a game of horseshoes, soccer or volleyball. It is also worth visiting the island’s wildlife sanctuary, Centreville Park. Once you return, you can order yourself a soccer jersey to remind yourself of your trip.

Toronto is a beautiful city with many parks and beaches, museums and galleries, restaurants and bars. There’s something for everyone!
