Eastwell Manor Afternoon Tea
Back when I was pregnant, my close family and I went for an Eastwell Manor afternoon tea as a little baby shower for me. I’ve always fancied going to Eastwell Manor. It looks really nice from the pictures I’ve seen and I’ve heard the afternoon tea is really good.

It was a small group. Just the six of us. My Mum, my Mother-in-Law, my sister and my two sister-in-laws. We were seated around a fireplace on three large sofas in one of the lounges. The lounge was really ornately decorated in a traditional style, lovely and light, due to the big windows and really welcoming.
On arrival, we were offered our choice of teas. There are lots of choices including traditional English Breakfast and Earl Grey, to more unusual choices like rosehip and hibiscus and green sencha. I opted for a decaffeinated English Breakfast tea. I thought this would go best with the sandwiches.
After a short while, three beautifully-laden cake stands were presented to us. These included things like egg, ham and salmon sandwiches, lots of fluffy scones with lashings of jam and cream and a plethora of naughty sweet things on the top layer. The sweet treat included a fruity tart with crème patisserie, a minty macaron and a lovely posset.

The china that the afternoon tea was served on was gorgeous, including our individual place settings.

We tucked into our afternoon tea and after we got through our teapots, we were offered a refill. The team there were very friendly.
The afternoon tea was really delicious. I enjoyed the fruity tart and the posset the most. I thought having a small afternoon tea with family was a lovely way to celebrate the upcoming birth of our baby and enjoyed the time immensely.

I’d highly recommend the Eastwell Manor afternoon tea as a treat for a special occasion such as a birthday or baby shower. It was a really special day – one I’ll treasure for a long time. An Eastwell Manor afternoon tea costs £26 on a weekday and £29 on a weekend. There are options where you can have bubbles included in your afternoon package, these start from £29pp.

This looks like a four course meal rather than just afternoon tea! #DreamTeam
