Rainy Day Lockdown Tips
Ad: This is a collaborative post
Lockdown is boring. Since March many of us have been unable to go anywhere, do anything, or see anyone apart from those in our household and it has been hard, to say the least.
Winter is now here and alongside the difficulties, lockdown brings we also have some stormy and rainy weather to contend with. If you are bored today and looking for something to pass the time on a rainy day, here are a few of the things you can do.
Organise Your Wardrobe
Your wardrobe is likely a cave filled with months worth of online shopping alongside the stuff you already had in your life and we don’t blame you. If you are bored this week and you are looking for something useful to do, why not spend a few hours going through your wardrobe to clear out old things? Instead of hoarding items you will never wear, take the chance today to get rid of old things, sell things online, and organise your wardrobe so you can find everything you own. It will make a massive difference to you this winter.
Read A Book
It is so important for you to take the time to read now and again. Reading not only can reduce stress but it improves imagination and can improve your writing prowess. If you are bored on a rainy day, cuddle up on the sofa under a blanket and read for a while. I’ve got some great suggestions in my entertainment section.
Look at Clothes Online
Let’s be honest; when we are bored all of us have browsed online and looked at Ronald Joyce wedding dresses. If you are bored and looking for something to pass the time today, look online and see what clothes are out there. Wedding dresses, in particular, can be fun to look at and they will take up your time and distract your mind.
Repaint a Wall
If you want to spend your time on a rainy day doing something useful – paint a wall. After decorating we are usually left with random half jars of paint, and over time paintwork can become faded and stained. Take an hour today to paint a fresh coat on your wall and make it look good as new.
Try a New Hobby
If you are bored on a rainy day and need something to do – why not try a new hobby? If you have never written before; try making up a story. If you don’t draw; try to create some artwork. Have fun doing something you have never done before and your boredom will melt away.

Have a Pamper Session
One brilliant way to spend a rainy day is to have a long bath, put on a face mask and do your own nails at home. A pamper session might be just what you need today and you can take the opportunity to try products you don’t use very often. Have fun practising some self-care and enjoy the feeling of being fresh and clean.
Try some of these things on your next rainy day and see what a difference it will make!
