Tips To Get Ready For Your Wedding Day

So your wedding day is just around the corner, how exciting! Are you feeling nervous yet? You are bound to be, as exciting as it is, you’ll be sure to feel anxious about the big day. You’ll have spent the last year or two planning this day, so most of the things will be in order; however, make sure you write a checklist and go through everything to make sure you haven’t missed anything. To help with your preparation, below are four things to think about to get ready for your Wedding Day.
Wedding Shoes
Have you started to wear your wedding shoes in? If not, begin to do so right away! Chances are they are new, and you haven’t be worn before. On your wedding day, you will be on your feet for a long time, so the last thing you want is your feet to be sore because of the rubbing. The sooner you do this, the less chance of them hurting on the day. You don’t have to wear them out on the street in case they get dirty; just wear them indoors for ten or minutes each day leading up to your wedding.
Jewellery
Your jewellery is very important on your wedding day. What will you choose to wear? Will you wear earrings, a locket, a bracelet, or a watch? These are all things to ask yourself when getting ready. It is also key that you try them on together so that you can check it all colour coordinates. If it doesn’t, you will have enough time to go out and purchase some new items before your big day. Make sure you get your partner to do the same, and if you are looking to treat him, you could go together, choosing the perfect watch for your wedding. This can be worn under his suit and will remind him of the special day whenever he wears it.
Wedding Dress
You will have already chosen this month in advance and stored it somewhere safe. A few weeks before, send your partner away and get the dress out to do a final check. This is the last chance for you to get any final alterations done. If you need any, don’t panic as due to you being prepared, you don’t have to stress that they won’t be done in time. This is also an excellent chance to try the dress on with your shoes and jewellery to check it all goes together perfectly.
Perfume
Your ability to smell is a powerful sense, and the perfume you wore on the day will always be remembered. Think back to your first date. Can you remember the perfume or aftershave your partner wore? It was so distinct as it was unique to that person. Before your wedding day, why don’t you and your partner choose a spray you will both wear? Don’t wear it until the special day and then whenever you wear it in the future, you will always be reminded of the day you got married.
